Young Pioneers Enrichment Center Inc. (YPEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, enrichment, and education center. Our main focus is character and personal development with an emphasis on decision-making, goal setting and action planning. It is our goal to empower generations to become pioneers in their homes, schools, communities and the world at large.
The mission of Young Pioneers Enrichment Center is to equip youth with character and personal development skills through programs and trainings that will enhance their overall health and wellbeing.
Our vision is that Young Pioneers Enrichment Center (YPEC) Incorporated will be a prominent model across the nation that will be a catalyst for character transformation of future generations. We will be a model institute for building and empowering individual’s character and personal development.
Linda Warren is the Founder of Young Pioneers Enrichment Center Inc. She is an educator at heart with a passion to help young people thrive.
Linda begin her career as a health teacher in 2001 and has worked with youth for over 10 years in various capacities. After her teaching career, she worked in the nonprofit sector and coordinated program development for two Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMHSA) grants: Minority AIDS Initiative and Drug-Free Community Support Program. Linda later worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Education as the Health and Physical Education Advisor where she served as the senior advisor and statewide expert for Comprehensive School Health, HIV prevention, and physical education (HPE) in the Division of Curriculum.
Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction/Leadership. Linda utilizes her experience and skill set to continue to educate youth and young adults about character development, decision making, health, and overall life skills.
